Catherine Taylor, BCaBA

Catherine Taylor has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for twelve years with a focus on applied behavior analysis for seven.  She has a degree in psychology, is a certified teacher of the handicapped and has been a board certified associate behavior analyst since 2003.  She has provided large group and small group hands on trainings in for school district personnel in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Currently Ms. Taylor serves as a Trainer as well as a Transition Coordinator at a private school in Northern New Jersey.  As a Trainer she develops and maintains behavior protocols, implements direct therapy and conducts functional assessments to implement behavior modification procedures as needed.   She also, oversees IEP development and program implementation, provides hands on training to staff and families, and trains teachers and teacher’s assistants to generate and run Applied Behavior Analysis based programs.  As a Transition Coordinator she conducts observations of typical school settings to determine the possibility of students being included in these settings.  This position involves close correspondence with sending districts case managers, training and monitoring of staff within the inclusion setting, and the monitoring of programming within the student’s classroom.
